Winnie Texas Rice Festival (EIA, IISE)

With the Texas Rice Festival being this week, volunteers were needed in directing drivers to the correct parking space. Due to the need in people, the Industrial and System Engineers (IISE) reached out to the Education Initiative Association (EIA) to see if they had any members who were willing to volunteer. As a member of the EIA, I decided to volunteer on Saturday, Oct. 7th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This angle shows were most drivers came from, this is where I directed them to specific lot.
A main part of the job was to allow drivers who are handicapped to go into this specific lot while denying regular drivers entry. The reason why this was major part is due to many people overlooking the sign.
