(1 point in Honors Activities and 1 point in Cultural/Intellectual)

In this lecture, Dr. Sarah Hillin discussed the impact of woman aviators in the late 1800s to the early 1900s, this lecture was called "Flashpoints of Flight: the Enduring Rhetorical Legacy of 20th Century Woman Aviators". From this, I learned how the impact of woman becoming pilots was beneficial to them for it allowed them to be seen as equally potential as men. Thus making headway towards women becoming independent.
